My beloved DK stingray is giving me some issues. It's been an amazing guitar and i love it. The store I bought it from said I was the first one to order it in their store network (long and mcquade) when they came out in 2020.
Lately tho no output from the bridge pickup. Ive tried to trouble shoot it, but there is a lot more going on under the hood than I first expected.
So the symptoms:
Bridge pickup in normal mode: no output. Or very little anyway. Amps at half and barely audible.
Neck pickup. Sounds great!
Middle position, some neck output but that's it.
Hit the bypass switch.... VERY little output.
Changed the battery. No change. Opened up and checked all wiring. Nothing's loose, grounds still in place. No corrosion.
I suspect it's something in the bypass switch circuit.
Any suggestions on how to bypass the bypass circuit and still have the silent circuit?
I really can't afford to have the guitar serviced right now. The last year hasn't been kind financially.
