Hey guys and gals.
In 2006 my brother and I started a DT Cover band with a friend drummer of ours.
The band went nowhere pretty fast without a keyboardist and with me going up to US (CT).
A couple of weeks ago another drummer (big Mike Portnoy fan) from my city contacted us on the net to try and revive the cover band.
Without getting our hopes up (I don't think there is anyone around who could play keys in a band like this) we arranged to meet and jam some DT.
Paulinho had a cam, so we made a few clips to share with friends.
The following are songs recorded on April 2nd. Our 2nd time playing together as a band. Please excuse the many mistakes, especially mines (I screwed up most solos
), it's been ages since we played these songs completely.
Both my brother and I are very impressed with Paulinho's playing. It's so natural and effortless it's scary. Even if we don't take this project forward it was well worth it just having met him, nice guy and awesome musician.
