Gerry...Im really sorry. You know Im about one month shy of 3 years lsince EB passed. That shows you when you are aware of it that much after that you know the amount of time. He is still with me....You wish you had more but there never is and you gradually accept the cycle of life and try to use the realities of life to keep perspective and to make sure that you are gocusing on the generationafter you.

I know a little about how you must feel, Gerry. Know that I'm very, very sorry; and also that life will go on. Keep your family around you and don't turn down help from anyone.

I'm sorry for your loss. Reading this was a shock, in terms of how fast he was overcome. I lost my father almost 15 years ago and still feels like yesterday. I regret so much that ne never got to meet my wife or our children.

Peace.

That's awful Gerry, I am so sorry to hear it.

Like many of you I also lost my father, I was 17 when it happened. The best tribute to your dad is to find meaning in his life and carry it with you.

My most sincere condolences to both of you, Gerry and Steve. Losing a loved one is awful, and losing a parent brings up all sorts of emotions. Like everyone else says, treasure your memories, especially those when you laughed together. They are very healing.
