My first EBMM purchase...Yucatan Blue Axis

Well, I finally, after decades of wanting one, pulled the trigger on an Axis today. After months of scouring Reverb, ebay, etc. I bought a Yucatan blue Axis from Chuck Levin's on Reverb. I told them to set it up with 10-46s and tune it to Eb. It should be shipped tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have by the weekend, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll post pics when I receive it.

Awesome! I’ve heard great things about Chuck Levin’s setups. Definitely post some photos and let us know how it plays once you get it!

I wanted a roasted amber color. I lost one when I was ready to pull the trigger. Someone snatched it right before I submitted my bid for purchase. I had another one of the same color in mind but the seller (The Guitar Buyer) was pathetic in responding to my questions. I just felt turned off by the customer service and since it was used I passed on it & made my bid for the blue one. Coincidentally the pic on it for sale didn't do it justice. I asked if they could mail me other pics & they did. I fell in love with it. Finally I asked my wife which one looked better, the amber or the blue. She said since I already have a sunburst PRS DGT I should get the blue one just to have a different color.

I have a flame top Yucatan. It's my fave out of all my guitars.
You're going to love it more than you think. Can't wait to see it.
