My first EBMM

So, its like the title says. I am a new member, and not long ago i traded my 2008 std Goldtop for this Musicman Silhouette HSH tangerine pearl.
I dont know what to say yet to the forum in general, but the guitar is quite amazing.
When i was looking for EBMM's in the first place, i was more interested in the JP6 and JP7 with piezo, and i also got one like a year back. The sad thing was that the trussrod was broken and i had to return it.. This guitar has been nothing but nice to me yet, and i think i will stick by it, and probobly buy it some bare knuckles eventually, since i am caught up in the Periphery-hype, like everyone else.. haha.

Just wanted to say hi, and show of this new weapon. I have had a selection of Ibanez (both prestige and japan custom), esp/ltd, Caparison, peavey and Suhr, and its nice to try something new

Do people switch out their silo pickups with something else, or do you guys often just keep the stock pickups?
I am considering getting something with a little more output.

They are fantastic pickups, super versatile. Deliberately vintage voiced, hence the lower output. A lot fo people swap them or something beefier but I love 'em.

Silhouettes are the best! I put an Dimarzio Air Zone in the bridge of mine, love the way it sounds now!

Thanks for all the comments guys! I have been wondering if i should try to find myself another pickguard with only a H-H setup, for more modern sounding pickups, because i dont want to discard the whole vintage sounding one. I have been into fusion, blues and stuff, and my preferances changes constantly.. and for that reason i often sell my guitars and buy other ones. Having a constant G.A.S for different equipment is exhausting.. (specially with bad student economy, haha)
