Hello everyone, I'm a long-time lurker. I've played many JPs over the past few years, and it's always been my dream to own one. When I saw the PDN JP6 with maple fretboard, I couldn't resist, and bought one off of eBay. It's a fantastic, beautiful guitar, and I haven't taken very good pictures because my excitement is a little low due to the issue, but here she is regardless!
Buying a guitar over the internet always carries risks. I figured since I was buying a guitar of such high repute, there was little chance of anything going wrong. For all I know, this might be an incredibly minor issue with an easy fix, but that's why I'm here. Hopefully one of you guys will know what I can do to fix this:
The tremolo plate is loose, and while there are some screws to tighten it, they are completely inaccessible to me from what I can tell. You would either have to totally remove the tremolo, or dive the tremolo way, way down to expose the screws and tighten them with your free hand. I'm not really comfortable doing either, and I hope there's an easier way that I'm just not thinking of.
Thanks, everyone. Hopefully I can find some a solution.
