Well, for the first time I saw someone play a Bongo live. It was none other than our favorite Bongo bass player Dave LaRue, who I had no idea was playing with Joe satriani. It was a great show. The bass tone rocked and was like thunder. When I first heard Satch was coming to town I wasn't too keen on going because the Tower Theater is a haul + Stu Hamm wasn't with him........seeing Dave LaRue made up for it....monster player. He played a Rad Red SC/H 5'er for the first song, Flying In A Blue Dream, & the rest of the night it was a pearl blue SC/H 4. The whole band was rockin'!
