So after GASing over the dargie 2 rays. I got enough funds to order one in. After trying to get one ordered from Bass Central. Turns out it was too early to ship it out to Canada. But Beaver tells me theres one in Canada and that he forwarded my info to the rep from EB. 20 min later I get a call from EBMM telling me by bass is in Mississauga. Then the 11th came and this is what I got:

Small review. Going from an ibanez sr300 the ray is superior in every possible way. it responds in ways I never thought a bass could in my hands. the fit and finish are amazing. Sound was a bit too birght for me when I bought it, but that was fixed with a setup and string change. with d'addario 45-105's she sings.

A huge thanks to the guys at MM for putting so much attention to detail in my bass. Also a huge thanks to bass central and there rep from EB for ending my search for this package.

go figure I spell check the whole post except the title /facepalm

What a way to make an entrance!

That's a nice DD2. Yes MMs are worth every penny once you see the attention to detail that the staff lavishes on each one to ensure that everything is as close to perfect as possible.

Congratulations on a great Bass...............

I love mine.............Got the 4 HH, but would not have minded the H version, as they are my favorite Sting Rays!
