Thanks Tristan... It's a great OD pedal. Not horribly expensive and sounds great with most amps.

awesome as usual but I suspect whatever you plug your guitar into you will sound great as most of your sound is in your fingers !

i need to buy a new overdrive pedal, but there's so many to choose from! My TS9 serves me well, i'm thinkin of getting a Fulldrive II.
sounds good ! I had some xotic stuff when I was vith VHT...I could not find the sound.

I don't have a clip of the BB into a clean amp. I tried it with the Green channel of my Bogner and it sounded really nice. The pedal is VERY VERY warm and so is the Bogner so it's not the greatest combination. It becomes too smooth.

Judging by your choice of amps (Engl and VHT) you seem to like amps that don't have much sag and are very precise. If that's the case then the BB may not work for you. It doesn't sound tight like the OD808 does (or other OD pedals). Also, I wasn't sure of what to make of the BB Preamp when I first got it... didn't know if I liked it or not. I went back and forth between the BB and the Maxon and ended up loving the BB more and more.
Also try the the Fulltone OCD. I haven't had any experience with it, but I hear good things.
