Well....after being bit by the 5 string bug after my Bongo five purchase I was looking for another Bongo 5. When I bought the Bongo (at GC) there was a used SR5 hanging on the wall that I had tried but it had OLD strings on it. Well my last trip to GC brought me back to that bass again. I played it for about an hour & played a new SR5 for a little bit. While the new one sounded better due to the strings, I liked the feel of the used one cause it was broken in already plus the new one was black & I wasn't diggin' it. So I made the offer, made him throw in a MM case & a new set of Slinkys & I was out the door. It was made in April of '98.

Very sweet bass. Love the natural SR5's.

If that rolls bongo were a singleH, I'd be making you an offer. Of course, it would've never left here to begin with. ;)

I'm in the mood to celebrate the SR5 tonight.

Heinz gets a fresh battery and some playin' time.

I like Stingray 5s. I'm glad you got one.

The love for that SR5 will only continue to grow. They feel great in the store they become an extension of your personality after a month or two of playing one.

Congrats on getting a good looking SR5.
