My first (used) Silo Special arrives!

Got my first Silo from EvilBay yesterday in the mail... thing is great! I needed a guitar with some single coil sounds to better coalesce with the sound of the band I'm playing with, so here she is along with my year old JP6! The owner apparently won her at Emergenza 2006. The pickguard is a bit scraped up, any ideas from anyone for a new look?

Nice Silo Spec. I was thinking of bidding on that puppy, as it is classy all black with maple neck.

Thats cool, I think the back is great, nice pick up especially if you got a good deal on it, just my 2 cents but one of the new gold swril pickguards would look awesome.

That was my thought too, change to white PUP-covers and it looks like the "Black Strat".

I was thinking black pearloid, does anyone have a pickture of black pearloid on black??? and ive already thought about doing the white pups and knobs, but dont really feel like throwing any money into it yet besides a new pickguard... anyone?

I've got a black pearloid guard on a black sub1, granted the black doesn't look as black cause its textured, but you can get the idea of how it would look. You'll have to imagine the maple neck...

I just went from all black to black/white pearloid. I'm still trying out pickups but I think I'll go all white or all black on whatever I decide to stick with.
