Lol - If only I could take credit! The black sparkle was/is an endorsee model and the board is great, and the board on the white one looks awesome....however I can;'t take the credit - it just the way they are! Its weird as the radius and thickness of the black one is so much shallower than he white 'standard' neck...but they both play great. I will put in some sort of HB's into the neck and get a new scratchplate for the white one.......

I've never played but old silos must be great guitars. I suppose 24 frets with HSS gives a different taste.

Wow, wonderful. I would say complete the yin/yang effect by putting a black pickguard on the white Silo, but DONT! It looks great white on white.

I can't compare to an Axis directly - but I used to have an EVH and the Silo for me is a lot more comfortable, but I think that's down to wearing the guitar high like Petrucci.....the higher you go - the more contours / cutaways are needed! Also, as the EVH was quite wide - it would make my right shoulder ache after a while.......I love the Steve Morse models but when I had them - the lack of cutaways really hurt my shoulder for whatever reason.....

I think the Axis has a tummy cutaway doesn;t it - so may not be as bad as having none at all......I love the rosewood Axis - they just look stunning!
