Got a call earlier this evening to sit in during a friend's show (I've played with these guys before; pick-up gigs).

So, I grab my trusty SR4-HH and my wife, and head a few blocks away.

Get a couple Guinness in me, get called up, plug into a Behringer 450w/4x10 system...and the Ray delivered the goods!

Position #2 for Stone Temple Pilots stuff...#3 for funky stuff...#4 for bass solo during funky stuff.

With the 3-band EQ, there aren't too many tones I can't dial in on-the-fly...I'm lovin' this!

Nighty-night!

At the end of the day, getting the job done is what it's all about (well, that and filling up all available space with Music Man basses).

Truly the workingman's bass.

Great story, glad you had a good night (while I'm having a blast here at work).

I thought from the subject that your bass had beat someone up:)

Was there ever a doubt about it being kickass at a gig?

Oh, absolutely no doubts at all...but it makes for good text, and a selling point for potential buyers.

Not to mention, I had a couple of Guinness in me, and was feeling pretty good about the evening.
