I think it would be cool to have a guitar with a small clock built in to the top of it...Ben says this is stupid, but think of how convenient it would be...If I was told to play for 1 hour, I would just take notice to the clock when I got on stage...GENIUS!!!:) anyways... back to computer class...

Plus, if you had one with an alarm - you could wire it through your output jack.

That way the alarm would ring though your amp loud enough to hear it and remind you to look down at the clock to see if your set was over.

That would come in handy when it comes time to do those 3 or 4 note passages at half speed for a few hours. I always find myself glancing up at my timer and losing focus. If there was a timer built in, you could just set it and shred without breaking concentration.

i thought after pickholders and flamethrowers, no one would come up with anything else cool to attach to a guitar....... although i'd love to see a bayonet attached to a headstock :p

What about a GUITAR WITH AN INERNET ACCESS??? :D

If you had a clock on your guitar, would it allow you to time-warp to be able to play over 5 billion notes per second?
If it wouldn't then it SUCKS!!! :D :D :D

Actually, it is since I don't wear a watch when on stage. ;) A personal choice, yes, just not into that on stage. Also, my main watch is nice and its heavy, so I find it hard to wear while playing. It throws off my wrist "balance" and makes it difficult to do any shredding. In reality, I'm not worried. We figure out the setlist in advance, so I already know what we can fit. If anything changes, the soundman just lets us know over the monitors if we are getting close to the end.

As for Tyler, hey, if he wants a clock, that's his choice. Not mine either, but different strokes for different folks...

I don't have a watch...my cell phone has a clock on it, but if I have it anywhere near my amp during a gig, it could get ugly...I never really have a set list either...i just kinda do it...I'm RICK JAMES!!!

Hmmm Why not get a cheap wrist watch and wrap it around the neck-headstock area? Waht would be cool is if said watch had a metronome feature or something so you can practice keeping time and stuff.

Edit: Like so...
