Hey, welcome to the forum:)

Don't worry about the spelling, a lot of the members here are American, they struggle with English too!;)

Dorbor dan Elecktron. I think if you can find a MM bass in eastern Europe you are probably lucky. I would make sure the neck and pickups all work. That is assuming it is used. Also, there are lots of European members of this site and they may be able to give you better advice on how to find one.

I guess it is actually dobro yutro now... :)

Elektron! Welcome aboard!

Croatia is one of my favorite places ever!

I was in Karlobag many years ago. I never wanted to leave!

Beautiful country, friendly people, and some of the most gorgeous women in the world!

I hope you can get the Musicman bass you want! Stick around, it's a good crowd!

Slovenia is nice as well. But not as nice as Hrvatska!

For Europe, that's the normal price. A StingRay will cost about 1600€ here in Italy. In the UK, it's about 1,000pounds, so all in all, 1500€ is about average or a good deal, depending on where in Europe you are, but in no case is that too much (not in Europe).

Unless you're set on a new Stingray, I'd look for a used one. You should be able to find a used Stingray for around £600 to £650 on ebay.

Well, I am much more of a Sterling fan really.

The bass and the man! We are all Sterling fans! BP ROX! :D

But I do have two Stingray 4 basses and a Stingray 5 that I like very much!

If import taxes/duties are not excessive in Croatia, buying a used Stingray on ebay in the US could be a good option, given used prices start around US$700. An online dealer with a large stock of used Stingrays could be another option, or you could keep an eye on the For Sale thread at the top of this page, assuming you have a method of paying and the forumite is willing to ship to Croatia.
