Can anyone tell me when a LE BC Bongo 5HH that I bought from Joel is being shipped? I bought it last week! :p

Forgive me. I went to the dentist this afternoon and got a temporary crown. I've been drinkin' Maker's Mark ever since.

Jack can step in and smack me if he wants, but I feel these questions should probably be directed through your dealer or maybe pm'd. Just a feeling, I could just be feeling grumpy today.

+1... And I'm not feeling grumpy (not that there's anything wrong with that!).

See the Forum F.A.Q.
17. I ordered a bass! Who do I ask about the status of my bass?
A: Your retailer. The factory is making basses as fast as possible. Please understand that the forum is not for checking where in the build process your bass is. The proper way to ask is THROUGH YOUR DEALER. Not to be mean or anything, but threads about "Where's my bass, dude?" will be deleted.

I ordered my HH SR4 back in October with delivery slated for January. Well, I'm being told now it might be 'til April. I know I'm not alone, and I'm a little suprised I don't see more posted regarding the delays. I may have missed the thread, so maybe someone has provided an explanation.

The production schedule is really a question for Dargin, but I THINK what happens is this.....no, no, I'm not going to speculate based on what little information I have.

I'll point Dargin to this thread and he can amaze and wow you with his actual information instead of my half-remembered and hazy recollections.

Idunno Jack. Some of your half-remembered and hazy recollections are quite entertaining to read.

Since we are on the subject, when's the first half of my Bongo5 single H in pearl blue with a white & black ice pg going to be done? And how soon after the final payment will the other half be done?

kinda hard to play 2.5 strings. Shudda got a 4banger.

Heh heh. Item 17. I wrote that a long time ago!

Always one of my favorites, item seventeen....

Item 17 is a good one, in fact it's right next to my favorite, item 16. Both classics.

6 weeks? I would say you are about half way there.

Most of the two pickup basses were held up until we got specific parts in stock, or were confirmed to be delivered. When we get parts we must sample test them until they are perfect, and sometimes this takes longer than we originally anticipated. Lead times for one off parts can a long time (trust me).

We did enter in the instruments as best we could by order date. We also can't just build two pickup basses for an extended amount of time, so some got bumped into further "bucket dates".

I hope this makes sense. HAHA

A pacific blue burst EBMM is really high up on my GAS list. It's a lovely finish! Congrats, man!

So what you're saying is supply is tight and customers need to be patient? :p
I think that's a reasonable request on EBMM's part. :D
