Help! My majesty bridge feels stiff

Hi, I have a 2019 Majesty stealth 7 string. It’s a great guitar, but the only issue I have with it is that the bridge feels very stiff when I try to slap the trem arm to get that vibrato affect.

I have another JP Music Man and that one does not have the same issue. The bridge is very responsive.

The majesty is set up properly and has fairly new strings. So now I have no idea what else to do. Hopefully someone here can help me. Thanks!

Is the other guitar a 6 string? 7 string trems are inherently stiffer feeling than 6 string ones. More strings = more tension.

My other guitar is also a 7 string.

have you tried taking out a spring from the back trem cavity?

Yeah, and it didn’t make a difference

Are both set up with the same gauge strings, with the same number of springs in the back, and the tremolo arm adjusted the same way? I assume you are trying to "flutter" the tremolo arm?

Yeah “flutter” sounds about right. Both my MM’s are set up exactly the same way.
