I would SO finance a 30th here in town...that is, if I could get away with it. I tried that little trick with a Telecaster a few years ago thinking that spousal forgiveness was easier than permission.

I was oh, so very wrong!!

You haven't finished school by graduating High School. IMHO

Things you patiently desire are those most enjoyed when aquired. IMHO

When you are old you will know these things. IK

You ain't so figure a way out to get what you want. :D

and i agree whole heartedly that the things waited paitiently for are the things most enjoyed, but the thing is if im patient on this one then EBMM is goona stop making them, and that would make me a sad panda

but there is also a part of me that thins that i can enojoy a 30th just as much now as i would in 4 months time :D

and that part of me says "BUY THE SUCKER NOW!"

i hope all you guys with half a dozen rays and sterlings and bongos know how lucky you are while im here working my butt off to get ONE, while at home im playing a yamaha RBX on a 12W practice amp.

Don't sweat it. When I was your age I was playing an Ibanez copy of a Telecaster bass, through a 15 year old 30w tube combo. We've all got to start somewhere.

I had some no-name brand infact I think it was called an AXE... terrible the machine heads died within 6 months. Followed by a yammie RBX.. not a bad bass.. but nothing on an MM.

Here's a way to raise the cash:

Start making grilled cheese sandwiches (you might call them "toasted cheese" sandwiches, not sure of the British English usage). Keep doing this until the markings on one come out looking like the Virgin Mary.

Then sell it on eBay. You'll make a fortune.

:D

The beauty of it is that you'll have something to eat while you're waiting for your divinely inspired snack to arrive.

Well you better bust a move then, because EBMM has already stopped making the 30th about a month ago. The total tally was just over 700 were made. I got mine, now get yours!
