Thanks to Travs's kindness I have (what I believe anyway) one of the coolest looking AL's ever. I just bought this guitar new less than two weeks ago from the good folks at The Perfect Guitar. It had a black guard which really looked good but Travs sent this new one and man does it really have the mojo magic now.....thanks a ton Travs!

Here is a shot with the original guard. I wish I could take quality pics like TPG does!

Whoa...nice choice on the pickguard. I like the original black but this new one smokes it I think! That color/PG combo totally works!

Any story bout the saddles?

I like the string height to be pretty high. With vintage saddles I don't have enough screw length to get the action as high as I like it. So I called EBMM and had a choice of ordering either longer screws or solid saddles. I just went with solid since I think they look a little better. Plus the longer screws stick up higher and can cut the palm of your hand if you keep your hand anchored there like I do.

I've been trying to wean Travs off his fetishes - one of which is being a hoarder of Al pickguards ;)
I have to say that that 'guard works 100% with your Al. Nice one.
