cheers fellas

The AL will be Black Cherry Burst , Trem and Piezo s-s-s (I already have a 3 Humbucker pickup Les Paul and a "Tele" with twin coil stacked p/u's so I wanted a different config hence the SSS)

My LP is Black and my Tele is Cherry so Black Cherry burst was the way to go.
None of my guitars have a trem (my first guitar a Watkins Rapier 44 had one!), so the AL had to have a trem, and when I heard a Piezo on a Luke, I just had to have one of those too!

The wait is almost over - I ordered 2 October and was told it would take 4 months so EB have done well to get it done in 3 months.

There's a load of guys here in Cardiff who can't wait to see it!!

Jonny, its a lot colder here than Dubai thats for sure and its meant to get colder this weekend again...so what you doing out in the Middle East? Whats it like working there?

Guess what? I work for Her Majesties Revenue & Customs and there's "Jack Sh!t" I can do about it!!! - if I could hurl some folding stuff about to speed it up, I would.lol!

Just come back home from the shop I'm buying the AL from and I won't hear anything until about Tuesday - I have loads of "office doo's" this week so that should take my mind off things.

The wait is almost over - I'm not so frantic that it can't wait.
It's gonna be like meeting a new aquaintance who I hope will become a good friend - but I have a couple of good friends that I have been hanging around with for some time - so he's gonna have to prove himself - shoot I'm already calling it "he" lol!

Oh well, the moneys still in my account ha!

Hey beej - you'll get fed up with all the phot's I'm gonna post ha!

Hey Jonny < I have very fond memories of Dubai and I wish I was over there now -it's cold!!

I guess you MAY have to wear a sweater in the evenings ha!

whoa Spud.... I think the whole instrument shipment for Strings and Things just left San Luis Obispo yesterday or the day before. At best, it will pick up the weekend consolidation and fly out on Saturday, which means it will arrive at Her Majesty's Revenue Customs about Monday. This is, of course, at best.

Take a deep breath. Relax. Think of fields of lavender. It's not long now. :)
