whoa Spud.... I think the whole instrument shipment for Strings and Things just left San Luis Obispo yesterday or the day before. At best, it will pick up the weekend consolidation and fly out on Saturday, which means it will arrive at Her Majesty's Revenue Customs about Monday. This is, of course, at best.

Take a deep breath. Relax. Think of fields of lavender. It's not long now. :)

Thats cool - I'll wait until after Xmas now.

The guys and S&T implied to my dealer that it would be at customs this weekend - now I know the "Real story" and it's no big sweat.

I'm enjoying the ride Ha!

Spudley, I spoke to Strings n' Things today and their shipment is due in Tuesday/Wednesday! I'm calling them on Wednesday anyway to see if they have any free stock of their initial y2d batch

I'm really scared I might end up buying one very soon.

Don't be scared - you're a big boy now !!! lol

That's great news about the shipment - it checks out with Beth.

It's 'cos I heard the piezo on the Petrucci, that I had to have one on the Albert.
It sounded sooo sweet through an AER amp.

Don't get a Y2d - get an Albert !!!!

I'm going to try a y2d very soon, but I may hold off in case they do decide to release a piezo version as I love the piezo on my JP so much.

With regards to the AL, I'm sorely tempted to try one and see how it compares to my Tele. Let's see what happens. ;)

Well from what I've heard they will compare very well with the Tele and supposedly be better - can't wait to see!!!
