Hello,

I just scored a great deal on a 60 Watt TSL with a 4-12 Marshall cab for $900! I'm pretty excited. I demo'd the thing for an hour fully cranked (the owner lived out in the country) and it sounded great. I was most impressed with the clean channel, which is usually not why one buys a Marshall (and I already have a Super Reverb). The original owner played a 335 through it, if that gives any indication. My 03 Standard Les Paul had the best sound, followed by my humbucker equipped Fender strat. Unfortunately, the worst sounding was my EBMM Axis. Guess I'll have to tinker more with that combo. I have it at home now, and the Les Paul still sounds the best. I also have a Fender 62 strat reissue and a ESP Lynch that sound great with this thing. I still can't believe how good this thing sounds -- I had heard so much negative stuff about them on the several boards, and had heard a few nasty sounding ones myself. There was also a TSL 2-12 combo and a 5150 head there, which didn't sound as good to my rookie ears. I feel pretty lucky with my find.
