My new baby.....

Thanks to the Barr/Williams dynamic duo, I am able to show you some photos of my newest love.

These photos are from Barr photography, I'll get some of my own with my pair of Bongos over the weekend.

I love the fretboard on this one!

This is my first Stingray. It's going to take a little bit of time getting used to the beefy neck, but it's not going to be a problem at all. I'm glad I picked this thing up, it's a great one!

I love the HD-500. I'm going to give the HD-500 the starting job and bench my GK 1001RBII. The GK will make a nice back-up.

I played with her for about an hour last night. There are redeeming qualities in all the settings. I find that after being a Bongo player for a while that I need to bump the bass a little on the preamp, no biggie - it doesn't take much. My favorite sound is one notch to the neck from the middle position, and the middle position is a close second.

I'm starting to get used to the chunky neck.

I'll give her a good workout on friday at practice.
