I thought I would show my love for sparkle finishes with my recent acquisition.

While waiting to get a Bongo, I have been searching for a Black Sparkle EB something. Although a StingRay was my first choice, this Sterling was just too good of a deal to pass up. Plus it came with TWO pickguards!

I had my first band practice with it a couple of nights ago, and did it ever sound amazing. I am loving the single humbucker, and the sparkle finish is killer (my guitar player was so mezmerized by all of the sparkling goodness that his playing abilities were severly compromised for most of the night).

There are a few electronic quirks that need sorting out, but I'm looking forward to gigging with it in a few weeks.

Yeah too bad nobody bought them or they would still be making them! LOL! They are my favorite too. I don't understand why they never sold a lot of them and why someone would prefer colors more plain. But hey that's just me. I own three EBMM and they are all sparkle colors.

That exactly what I think. In a shop, if there was a plain black MM next to a sparkle black - it would be thesparkle every time!

Love mine. Loveyours too.
