This is my "new" EVH. Serial-no. 80118. Bought it used in Hamburg, Germany. Has some dings and dongs but a great player. Absolutely amazing neck.
Can I get the production date from the serial?

Greetings

I´m absolutely happy with it. As I mentioned I sold my PRS for it and it´s like "Coming home". I never get used to the PRS. I tried almost ten different guitars in the last months. Les Pauls, PRS´, ESPs,... but finally came back to Music Man and I guess it won´t be my last EBMM.

The only thing that makes me wonder is the look of the neck. Did they produce such dark ones or is it just absolutely stained and dirty? :D

I've also noticed that my EVH's early in the run have a slightly darker neck. Maybe it's the age or playwear?

Regardless - awesome EVH you have there.

Its just use. All my Axis and EVH guitars are much darker now then when I got them due to use.

I´m absolutely amazed by this guitar. Tried it today for the first time through my Mesa Road King. It beats the hell out of every PRS I´ve owned. The next guitar will definitely be a Music Man again.

The guys on Birds and Moons (a site that a lot of PRS guys go to) usually have very good things to say about EBMM - I know I do.

I love my EBMM EVH and I love my PRS Cu22. Sort of like apples and apples to me. Hope I'm not stepping on any toes in here but I simply appreciate great guitars made by great builders.

I tried an expensive PRS but to me it just wasn't comfortable. Workmanship was top notch, it just didn't fit like a glove.
