With the flats on it I like it and it likes me and I almost did not come to work today so I could play it all day. It is at work with me and I am headed to play right after work.

I'm thinking the BongoH radio/alarm clock finally went off. Wish I'd bought one to begin with but life is a circle. Lots of buzz lately on the bored. How many orders did you get at NAMM?

And congrats Tom. She's a keeper. I would have bought her when Ben put her on the block but had no mula at the time.

Just for the record, other than Ritchs snag of Kermit, I was the first forumite to have a Single H Bongo. I have sung its praises from the beginning. Thats the ONLY bass I really kick myself hard for getting rid of. I miss it a bunch.

BP I listened to you or I wouldn't own anything but SR5s. That fret board looks thirsty in the picture. It is fine in real life. I guess even Jack's pics have some light in the way of real life.

The biggest shock I have in this is that my wife just thinks it is the living end to basses. She bought my SR5 for me as a birthday present and she had no idea what a Bongo was other than the drum variety before this one got here.

Even though I heard BP say real men play 4 strings.... The B string on this Bongo is like the voice of God when he is mad. Loud and clear.

The young man that sold me this bass deserves even more praises sung unto him than I can ever offer.

To BP and crew I say job well done. Be danged proud of yourselves. Your excellent workmanship shows in every bass I own built by EBMM.

Same here. It's here for lunchtime and then right after work, gig it. Same yesterday, same today, then same tue, then thurs, then fri .... I have a ground floor room of my own at work. I get to half-dime it.

But this one is a garden variety Lava 4HH with stock strings. That Burgundy with blue is so cool, and now I see the really best featue of a 1H: Shows more PG Great score!
