Hi Everyone!
In the early part of this year I had the misfortune of getting my three very loved guitars stolen. These were guitars that I have had for a long time and had seen millions of hours of stage/ home use. As many of you know your instruments become a part of your body and you form a close bond with the ones you regularly use.
When the shock of what happened began to wear off I was faced with the impossible task of replacing my beloved guitars. These three guitars were: two Strats and one Parker Fly. I loved each of these guitars for induvidual reasons. I bought a G&L ASAT for the "I gotta have something right now!" factor. Then began the debate about what to get as my main workhorse.
I looked at almost everything on the planet when I ran across a little blue Silhouette in a local music store. I was instantly hooked. It was instantly familiar. So, I proceeded to order one with the specs to my desire. Lava Pearl, Matching Headstock, Maple Neck, Abalone Pickguard. (I opted out of the piezo option because I had it on my last Parker and very rarely used it like I thought I would)
Four + months waiting almost killed me. But now I have it. Ahh that new guitar/ case smell!! Anyway, since I took a gamble on the Lava Pearl I thought I'd post a couple of pictures for anyone who was interested. Great Color! Orange and Red and a little sparkly at the same time. Really difficult to photo.
