Plus you had fun doing it! Nice work Spud.

Hee hee - yeah I did have fun - kinda got me thinking when I had the problem with the vibe pedal being too low - but the hinged plate works really well.

I remember back to the night I asked my "builder buddy" if he had any spare cases knocking about, and the look of disbelief when I said what I wanted it for.
I now take the mickey out of him when I turn up with the case slung over my shoulder and uttering the phrase " ... ... and they said it couldn't be done!!!" :D

Awesome work! I hope the Gout in your big left toe does not flair up from all of the Stompin' going over there.

Cheers Danny - I've used it a couple of times now and I've gone back to using my Behringer Blues Overdrive for now. The case is holding up fine but the guitar strap needs stronger fasteners to hold it to the case. The leather part of the strap split so I need to resolve that small problem.

Congrats Spud.... very creative & great job.

I reckon you must have watched alot of Blue Peter when you was a kid & you deserve a Blue Peter Badge for your efforts.

Sorry, those of you outside of UK will not probably get this......

Cheers

I bought the TC electronic Flashback delay after seeing Steve Morses demo on this forum and after hearing that Tommy had placed them in all of Steve's rigs.
The problem I had with it, is that the switch is very low (much lower than the stomp switches on the pedals next to it). I was hitting the switch with my size 9 feet and was hitting the selection knobs - not good, infact quite embarrassing. Today I made an aluminium shield which screws to the base of my board and fits between the switch and the control knobs - basically a barrier. Ergonomics of this pedal are not good !! but the sound is fantastic !!

Here's a pic of my cheap fix.

Kickguard. Spudguard? I love it!

How you finding the tc box?

Spudguard - ha - like it!!
I'm going to use it live tonight and can't wait !!!

I'm liking it a lot - it has a lot of settings - one I pariclarly like is the modulation preset. When I run the Danelectro vibe with it, it sounds very .... .... swoopy and whooshy.
I have a separate looper but the one on this is very useable.

I also like the Dynamic setting - kinda just gives you the delay at the end of your passages/licks.

The last delay pedal I had many years ago was a DsD 3 and this TC pedal I feel is far greater.

It seems to have an issue with batteries but I run it from a power brick anyway.

Have to say in rehearsals the other night it brought a smile to my face.

I know I'm gonna like this pedal.

Just got back - a great pedal well worth the money. The modulation setting is sublime and swoops about very nicely without having the bottom end thump or high end trill -- they have the parameters spot on. I didn't use the slap back tonight as I wasn't playing any numbers to warrant it but in the sound check it's all that a "Rockabilly" would want. I used the dynamic setting a lot as it just gives the delay at the "end" as explained above. Yes it's worth the money and I have to take it around a few mates houses/rehearsal spaces to try it out with them.

The "Spudguard" (mudguard) worked wonders and my size 9's did't cause any embarrassing moments. It's a good addition to my board.

Oh yeah I gave the JP6 a try out (open mike) and loads of people played it and liked it.
That's it fer now.
