spkirby's post made me reflect on all the great bands that came out of the UK.
Thanks for that, spkirby!

{I thought: Genesis, Pink Floyd, Yes, Jethro Tull, Marillion, Pendragon.. pretty much the entire prog genre! Black Sabbath, Led Zep, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, The Fixx! }

So many greats, I'm willing to forgive and forget about Rick Astley, Samantha Fox, and the Spice Girls! :D

Ok let's see, real quick here:

Led Zepplin - John Bonham... DEAD
Pink Floyd - come again?
Queen - Freddy Mercury... DEAD
The Who - Keith Moon & John Entwistle... both DEAD
Rolling Stones - Keith Richards... DEAD (they have a marionette look-alike that some guy moves around with strings when they perform)
The Beatles - John Lennon & George Harrison... both DEAD
Ozzy - If you seriously believe he's still alive...

C'mon Pete I think we need to respect our British brethren and their contributions to Rock n Roll history. Just think about:

Kajagoogoo
Bananarama
Haircut 100
Flock of Seagulls
Samantha Fox
Wham
Bay City Rollers
Spice Girls
Frankie Goes to Hollywood
Dead or Alive

Wait, maybe I'm not really helping here  ;)

By the way - Jellied eels are an east end of London delicacy often sold with pie and mash.
They are cooked for approximately half an hour and allowed to cool. The juices then solidify forming the jelly. Sometimes gelatine is added. Jellied eels are often eaten with chilli vinegar.

...and people enjoy this item ??
