It makes me laugh but it also shows just how far reaching the desire for hipness has gone! It's even funnier to me because I speak in proper terms (mott) but I've been known to speak some non pc stuff in private. I say let peeps say what they want but be mindful of where and to whom you say it!

I just pulled out an old compilation cassette and I finally figured out you were on it. It was given to me....as I used to listen to music when I flung myself out of planes....there was this one tune....always got me pumped....it is yours. I played it for a friend of mine and he recognized your band but didn't know the name of the song....but, it has been through Hell and back. Several times....funny how life works.

Yo Norm! Great looking batch of Maple Board babies! I'm digging the hell outta the blue dawn ! My next project is converting a black sparkle floyd silo to s/h with EMG's! I think a LE trans ash Silo (s/s/h + 24 frets of course ) will get mUcHo cash from all Silo lovers! I STILL get offers for mine ! I played the dickens outta that guitar (live) for years because I loved it so but now it's a studio girl! A LE will give me some to use live again! DO IT, BP, DO IT! ROCK OUR KNOTS! (Ya know, this could be the LE JH Trans Ash Silo, ya know!!! ) I'm just saying.......

The Blue Dawn is my #1 guitar.
How's about LE or BFR ash with EMG's already installed? You and I differ about the neck position pups (S vs. H) but 24 frets is a must. Piezo would make a nice option. Have you tried one of those yet? Possibly retro-ing them with floyds might affect your knot in a positive way eh?

What I thought was funny/cool was how you took a phrase from this board (which is the pulse of cool) and passed it on to someone to help them become successful. Good for you!! With your contact list being as big as it is I think it's great that you can pass these things around and help the world to be a better place.
Personally, I really enjoy this forum and since my social life and cultural exposure is quite limited, I use what ever resources I can find to enhance my vernacular. From getting my Knot ROcked or just saying it, that's how I roll.
If I did something to give you a chuckle then good for me. Mission Accomplished.
I hope you don't think this is sarcasm 'cause it really is genuine.

Hey NorM! This would be how I'd love to see a LE or BFR ash Silo offered. I'd love to see choices of EMG versions (s/s/h or h/h) and choices of non active versions (s/s/h or h/h). There would be a choice of bridges, a Floyd (non floating) or a hardtail. 24 frets and the only "upgrade" option would be the piezo. I think these options would allow any Silo lover the way to create a trans ash classic beauty or a trans ash shred machine .....My knot is a rockin just thinking about it ! Your thoughts?

Till then I will just have to be happy with the 3 in the picture, the one I am restoring and the 2 20th's. If that makes me angry I'll just have to play one of the Morse's (Steve is my guitar hero). You know I really enjoy the Pets as well. (I think I might have another Pet on order) The Axis never really gets as much love as it deserves so I should fix that. Bongo's are just cool and now my bongo matches my car (I bought that one on BP's bitrthday from GC). Still nothing inspires creativity like the fretless Sterling. Do you know how light the SUB guitar is? Ooh! the SiLO Bass is just pure fun.
