My new SM..

My new SM guitar arrived today. Forgot how much I enjoy playing balls...although I am going to have to work on my right hand tech due to the front switch not a biggie though. Do have a couple of questions. When did they go to locking tuners? And when did they switch to SKS cases? The tone knob is scratchy...what would be safe to spray on it to smooth it out?

Enough of that here she is..



And my rig...I don't play live anymore but it is fun...

A squirt of switch cleaner, followed by copious amounts of turning the pot back and fore should solve the problem and wouldn't invalidate any warranty - other than tha, if the dealer is close by, get him to do it?

Congrats, the standard Morse is such a nice guitar, it can do almost everything. Sunburst looks really great on it to!

congrats to this wonderful guitar.
regarding your scratchy pot: sometimes it helps to use some compressed air. it will blew out the dirt. if this doesn´t help you may use some contact cleaner. one of the best so far seems to be deoxit from caig Home of DeoxIT® and HAND-E-GLOVE® - CAIG Laboratories, Inc.
