Hello all. I've not been as active on the forum as I once was, but now I've caught my breath and I'm back posting more regular. In the past 6+ months the wife and I had our second child, baby girl, named Layla. We've also purchased our first home, so we've been a bit busy with the new baby, new home, moving, settling in, ect.

But the most important thing ( J/K! ) I've recently bought a Stingray5. I've always been a 4 string player, but this bass is great. It hardly feels like a 5 string because of the narrow string spacing and the slim neck, feels great to play, sounds amazing, love that single H sweetness. I've had this bass a few months, but just now getting around to showing it off, its long overdue, So here's the pic to prove it.

So THERE you are. Good to see you back amongst the heathens - and with a fiver, no less! Classic color scheme you got going there, too.

Not feeling THAT adventurous, eh?

I have an Ampeg SVT CL and an Ampeg 810 cab setup that I use. Sounds great through it.

I also like GK and Markbass stuff.

update: played the new SR5 today at church and it sounded thick and awesome. Buttery smooth.

Great basses!

Congrats on Baby #2- The new House- and the SR5. Love the color. I just picked up my first SR5, and couldn't agree with you more. It feels great, and actually has some very nice tone options.
