My new band has had about 5 practices now. And being a classic rock type of band, I was curious as to which of my basses were going to best fit the bill. Well, it probably won't come as a surprise to anyone here, my band mates unanimously voted for the SR5. All afternoon I was having a blast using every switch position and adjusting the eq accordingly. It's certainly the most versatile bass that I have. Only problem is I really don't want to use my ltd. edition SR5 as my workhorse bass.

Yo, Jack, Steve!!!! What you got in stock? I need a dual pup 4 or 5 string Stingray.

I have a nice collection of basses -- including four EB Stingrays. I keep coming back to my single H SR5 as my favorite bass. For a single pickup bass, it is very versitle, and every tone it produces is useful and musical. EB really hit a homerun with the SR5! Now I need a SR5 Hs :)

I agree with the single H sr5 being an amazing bass. Right now I am using Position 1 on my HHsr5. To my ears,it is just THe tone. The other setings are fun but when it comes time for business, that classic tone just does it for me.

I sent him an e-mail about a certain strap that never got replied to. ;)

I'm in no hurry though. Steeb-o. Any way I can purchase a strap from you and you just ship it with my HH SR5 when it comes in?
