I don't sell my guitars. I didn't expect my MM1s to be "just like an Axis" or whatever. I knew what I was getting, I had researched them fully before buying. Again, I really like them, and I'm not into comparing them with anything. As to the "real" comment, they are real, they are real OLP MM1s. Again, I have 29 guitars, so I'm well covered.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to attack you or your OLPs. I intended it lightheartedly based on my own experience with getting my Axis. Guess that didn't come through in text. Seems to happen to me a lot.

I didn't believe in selling any of my guitars either, but my Axis pretty much made them instantly obsolete and they're starting to slowly drop off to fund my next one. And I have to have a next one. You'll understand one day. You've just acquired the gateway drug. :p

I'm thinking of getting an OLP Luke to get the feel of them. Worth it?

i have one olp luke, and it brought me to musicman..

yes olp luke is a very good guitar for it's price (since they have the similar ebmm comfortable neck and the cool look of musicman) .. and they are really good ..(that was the most comfortable guitar i have played before i played the real ebmm luke.. )

honestly, OLP luke sounds good enough and the sound character is "near" to the real one(tough it doesn't sustain as long as the real one) ..
but the detail quality is really far compare with ebmm.. example : the tremolo, the frets, the wood resonance, etc.. When i bought the guitar, there was something wrong with the tremolo cavity on my OLP (it's not routed on the right way so the temolo cannot move/stuck), and there were some fret which didn't sound at all.. so i had to fix it and did some setting to that guitar

so i still suggest you to to have more patient and save your money little bit longer .. and just buy the real one.. but of course if possible , it's nice if you can compare those olp and ebmm in the guitar store..

but i heard olp don't make any musicman model anymore.. so probably you won't find it at the store now..

Good luck,
Abraham
