I've been very happy with my BFR for the past few months... and in all my waiting and playing (in tone heaven!) I neglected to give props to the man that made my BFR dream become a reality! I am talking about none other than Mr. Jeff Bateman from Ye Olde Music Shoppe in Charleston, South Carolina. If any of you are on the fence about buying an EB guitar (or other top notch brands) then give Jeff a shout! He's been a complete pleasure to deal with and he gave me a sweet price on a sweet guitar. The least I can do in return (besides the cash I forked over the BFR - haha) is spread the word in hopes of giving him some referrals...

Wanna contact him? He's on this forum as JeffreyB. He is on the JP forums and Boogie Board forum as well, but under a different name.

Give him a holler and tell him Adam sent ya!!

MM dealers are kinda like family doctors and dentists - we all have one in our family!!

Hey, how about a "universal guitar care" package, never mind the health care!

I've been on the fence about posting this for awhile and I have even sought the advice of fellow forum members as to what to do with regards to situation.

I ordered my Morse through Jeff and paid for it back on May 16. The guitar came with no issues but I did not receive a receipt.

I contacted the store many times by phone and was promised one.....nothing yet

I contacted Jeffrey and received several emails with the "I haven't forgot about you" ....nothing yet.

It has been over 6 months since I received the guitar and would like the freakin' receipt, this is ridiculous.

All I know is that Jeff has been very helpful to me and a pleasure to deal with... From what he told me he is going through some rough times right now. I'm just trying to help him out.

Jeff is awesome. He got me a great deal on some great gear (non-EB sadly). I'm planning on hitting him up soon for a Wah!
BP is right that I haven't seen him around the forum in a while, but I'm sure he has a very good reason.
I guess I'm biased against Pete on CT-sales-tax-grounds, but he's a great guy, and I appreciate the fact that Jeff and the Dubaldo's are decent to each other.

All of you guys in the usa should count yerselves lucky with whatever dealer ye buy from as our prices in europe are much higher than yer over there!

There are only three dealers Ive dealt with but can recommend...

Pete Dubaldo-Dubaldo Music, CT

Mike Z-Mikes Music Shop, Harrisburg PA

Jay-Central Jersey Gtr and Bass Center. My only qualm w/Jay are his prices but a very nice and trust worthy guy to do business with IMO.

Personnally, Ive never heard bad about a MM dealer with the exception of the wide and varying opinions regarding GC.
