I've been playing pbass exclusively for years. It's the first one someone handed to me so I went with it. Had to take it in this weekend for some repair work and thought I'd try something else.

Ended up leaving the store with an unfixed pbass and new Sterling. I liked the Stingray too but the Sterling felt so good to play. I enjoyed the tones you could get with the pickup selector. It was great and I couldn't leave without it.

I can't wait to play this weekend to hear how it sounds in the mix.

Congrats and good choice on the Sterling. I haven't played one but by the way people talk about them I'll bet the feel is pretty close to the P.

I too was a P player by default. If I had known what MM basses could do earlier I would have switched long ago. When I switched to the 5-string my first choice was a Stingray. From 4 to 5 the difference wasn't much and the SR5 neck feels pretty good.

Welcome to the party!! :D

Congrats on the new bass, you will love it. Once I got my Sterling, it is the only bass I play.

Glad to be partying. I wish I would have tried them years ago. I liked the SR too.

Welcome!

The Sterling feels more like a Jazz to my hands.

Thanks John! Only played a Jazz once in a last minute, can i borrow that guy's bass, gig. Can't say that I remember how it felt but I clearly didn't get the same first impressions I got with the SR or Sterling.

Sadly, it appears that this bass does not exist. Without pictures to confirm I dare say that the OP was sleepwalking! :p
