Armybass-

do the older stingrays have glossy black pickguards or matte finish black pickguards?

Sweet arsenal (Armybass) I have a (I believe.... have not submitted for DOB) 2003 natural-- much like yours.

That SR5 looks very familiar Jack. You have to have great taste to pick out a bass that classy I say. I am not avoiding the Bongo, just haven't happened across one yet. I am sure the Bongo 5 would be fantastic for kuntree musak.:p

Now if you had, say, a natural SR5 with rosewood fingerboard, you'd be all done, eh?

Well, almost all done - we still need to talk about Bongos. And yes, I've used a Bongo to play country.
I looked for a SR5 like that for 4 months and couldnt wait any longer, I got a lava-pearl color instead...really funky color.
Did you get it online?

I'm liking that lava pearl more and more!

I got the natural SR5, actually, from Mr Armybass. He and I have been known to do a lot of bass-related business, trades and purchases and sales and so on.
