Yes, I feel that we have a rather historic relationship when it comes to bass trading and the like. We have shared a few MM's and I am sure we will share more in the future, now that I like what Jack has helped refine and add some versatility to my bass tone taste:D

Actually none of my present basses have ever been to Camp Bovine North or South. Jack had some Pre EB Rays. Both of mine a very early EB Rays.

Pete, I play in the Ft Lee Army Band and we play at the UVA Graduation Ceremony every year. I just down the road, near Richmond.

I'm afraid that with the Green Bongo Machine being available, that natural SR4 might be in danger.

And a Rumblefish 5L. This is all I can think of to do! I don't like it, but I'm.....an asshat, that's what I am.

Armybass-- thats awesome. What do you play in the band?

Becuase I absolutely hate mom and pop stores and would like to see them all driven out of business by gargantuan ware house style music stores, I often make the drive down to Richmond to hit the two you have there.

I like the guys at the Ash. If you ever need a good set up there is a guy named "Jerry" who is really cool and will set your rig up real nice (did for a Martin acoustic I have).

Bovine-- What does enjoying every sandwich mean?

And I'm still wondering if those pickguards are glossy or matte...

Petee, I am a Bass Player in the Army Band....for a little while longer anyway. There is a much better shop in Richmond callled "Richmond Music Center" and they are a bigtime MM Dealer. I get all my gear from them. Gimme a shout and I can tell you where they are or meet ya there sometime if you like.

Jack I woul dlove that Natural SR but I am afraid my GAS money is tapped out for the move.

Moving really sucks. Hopefully this will all be over by Monday or Tuesday.

I do have an SR 4 natural-

Black pickguard.

It is beautiful.

and the neck smells like vanilla (anyone else notice that smell on the new unfinished maple necks?)

and the pickguard is black, it couldn't be any blacker. In fact, if you were to ask me how black could it be I'd say "none, none more black".

That's fine because we don't like putting up with your attitude anyway. we prefer dealing with adults.
