EBMM Customer Service

So My new baby (Natural top A.S.S. H/H with piezo) was sent to EBMM yesterday via UPS. GOod news is that since I live only 3.5 hours away from EBMM, the UPS ground only takes 1 day :) So Jon, you might be taking a look at my guitar today, that is if you are the person who will be working on it.

Well, One of the main reason for posting this thread was due to a EBMM Rep Dan.

As some of you might recognize my screen name, I post on many GUitar forums on line and have seen many people praise certain manufacturer and their customer services. Well, I gotta say I am rather very skpetical and don't put much weight on to their praises due to my personal experiences of calling and dealing with some of those same companies only to realize many of those praised companies customer service were not as great as what I have read and heard.

And well... to be honest when I came on the EBMM forum I didn't think much different of EBMM. Many EBMM owners praised EBMM and their Reps. Nothing new and thought to my self, just another small/med builder with decent customer service just as some of other small/med builders with their own followers. It's only true that when you visit Larrivee forum (I like Larrivee guitars and own several), larrivee members praise Larrivee customer service and same thing when you go to any other small/med builders.

So I spoke to Dan from EBMM this morning in regards to my High E(1st string) being too close to fret edge. Well... guys, I gottat say Dan changed my mind about Customer service. I was always told that EBMM had good customer service and just assumed that they probabaly had a reasonable service for small/med builder as I mentioned above. However, when I spoke to Dan this morning I felt as if Dan really cared about my concerns and my guitars. I was thinking to my self is this guy new to the company? You know, usually new guys are very nice becuase they just have been hired on. Dan was just very authentic and nice regardless of my utterly picky reason for calling and asking repetitive questions. Matter fact he told me ask more question and to call back later today to get more info on my guitar. I'm sure he gets many calls a days and many of them being with similar questions. Not to mention picky/pain in the a_ _ customers such as my self :) calling over and over for selfish reasons of finding out when "MY" guitar will be ready and when "MY" guitar will be shipped etc etc.
Well Dan answered and encouraged all my questions as if they were important to him as much as it was for me.

So what did he give me or offered for free? nothing. But sometimes Knowing that I can ask questions about my guitar without feeeling as if I am being a pain, burden, and hassel to a Rep can be worth more than free pack of strings or picks.
I really appreciated his patience and encouragement to call and ask as many questions I had.

David

i had a fall out with EBMM Cust Services - I can't really say anything that bad about them, but if anything happens any of my EBMM guitars again, I don't think they would be happy to hear from me so I'll probably just go through a dealer or Strings and Things in the UK. I'm probably the guy they curse at office parties...

Songman,

Great story. I totally agree that EB customer service is great, especially since I already told you that before. :D

I'm anxious to hear how your Super Sport comes out. I'm sure it will be a winner. It sure looks fantastic!

Credit where credit is due - after I posted this, EBMM Customer Services sent me a personal message asking if they could help resolve my issues

Dude, you can host your pictures at webshot.com, that's where I host mine and many others here do too.

Hope this helps, Glenn |B)

Can someone help me post pix of my new guitar?

Assuming you've found a place to host your files (like some of the sites mentioned), you can post your pics using the little postcard-like icon beneath the font size selector that appears when you post a message.

After clicking it, all you need to do is provide a URL to the image. (i.e. http://myhost.mydomain.com/myfolder/myfilename.jpg )

Hopefully we will have you up and running soon!
