So I had church gig this morning. With my HD-500 on its way to a new home, and my new amp between Utah and Georgia, I wound up running my SR5 straight into a QSC RMX2450, then to my Berg HT115.

Didnt have time to borrow an amp yesterday, so the SR5>QSC>Berg HT115 was my only option.

Was a bit concerned that I might lack some tonal flexibility, but hot dang, the SR5 still sounded amazing, with only the onboard eq.

Whoooda thunkit?

My SR5 still kills every bass Ive ever played.

Hola,
On our last gig I forgot the power-cord to my Eden Metro (with no Radio Shack around for MILES), and no direct box, so I had to plug in directly into our Mackie board. Fearing the worst, but pleasantly surprised by the tone and definition of my Sr5 Bass!!! With no backline amp, and pumping a little through our monitors, the Bass through our P.A. sounded fantastic, with nice low's and top, even my Bandmates were blown away! I love my 77', and my Sr5 .
