I just recieved my new cab yesterday. My Walkabout amp, which has bassicaly been in service since I got it, was finally repaired yesterday. And I got a some new strings and am going to mess around stringing the 5 string Bongo E-C.
Well, for some reason it took the amp like 4 tries to get going last night, but after it did everything seemed okay. I woke up a little earlier this morning so I could play for 10 minutes or so before I went to work and I got nothing. Sigh, I wonder how long the service people actually played with the amp once they got it "fixed." They told me that the original problem was a blown fuse and some loose connectors. Rawr!
So tomorrow I think I am going to hit up the local music joints and try to find a decent used head. Although I think I will probably end up with a cheap Ashdown of some sort, which is truthfully all I really need.
