I have been the happy owner of a Boogie MKIV for several years now. But, in May of this year i had the chance to noodle a Boogie Mark V, at the GC in Arlington, Texas, with a Reflex, which is my guitar. I was just floored. Incredible tone! I knew right there that the MKIV had to go. So, today was the first step in that journey.

I got an OK deal. 2 years left on the warranty.

Now, I just have to get it to México...

Hopefully, you're in a situation in which your wife doesn't have to get it.
I was getting my wife's opinion on what tone she likes. She had me dial down all the gain to pristine clean, then dial out the reverb to zero. I finally grabbed my acoustic and strummed it and she said, "yeah, I like that." Being a gain addict, I had to respectfully tell her that her opinion is officially null and void.

acwild, totally undersand!!

That's why I let my wife speak her mind about Channel 1, which is for clean sounds.

Channel 2 and 3 of the MarkV is "men's territory" and where the gain fest lives!!!
