Raz, that pic is classic. I wear my git-box kinda high also, right below my enormous pecks, ha! I like the extra leverage it gives me.

As for the watch/ring thing, my hands and wrists go naked.

jp wears his ring too

but how is malmsteen
he has at least a kilo of gold on each wrist i swear to god

for my strap height i go
when i sit down with the guitar in the classical position (in between legs)
thats how high i have my strap
so if i sat down with my strap on it would rest just perfectly in between my legs

I don't know how you can stand having your watch on your fretting hand when you play. I always have to take mine off or my wrist starts to hurt.

Yep! Watches, rings, bracelets...slides.
Go figure.

i saw these two guitarists on this program called ' the guitar show' on abc (in aus)
one of them had a ring he could spin around and on the other side it was like a mini slide
they also introduced me to pitch bending in between the tuning pegs and the nut

behind the nut bends can be very painful if not properly exicuted......

Though perhaps the nagging forearm pain wasn't even guitar related in the first place.

Ba-da-bing!

(was this already covered?)

Right. Sit on your left hand till it goes numb so it feels like someone else .... hahahaha :D

A (rather desperate) buddy of mine one day told me this, then followed up with "I'm going home for some quality time with Palmela Handerson" .... hahahahaha!!!

What do ya mean, funny? Let me understand this cause, I don't know maybe it's me, I'm a little 'blanked' up maybe, but I'm funny how? I mean, funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh... I'm here to 'blankin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?
No, no, I don't know... you said it. How do I know? You said I'm funny. How the blank am I funny, what the blank is so funny about me? Tell me, tell me what's funny!

Oh Raz, It's not you that's funny. You are in no way funny. What was funny was me, not you. You are not funny. I see you more as a little bit sad which is the opposite of funny. I pitty you. You don't amuse me. You bring me no happiness what so ever. If anything you add to my displeasure. At night, I am always sure to include a word for you in my prayers.
I love you Raz
