Machine Head - The Blackening.

Man, that album just... Slays. There's no other word. Probably the best straight-up metal album in my collection.

Hi you Chickenfoot guys,

I got the album yesterday and have to say: wow.

The first two songs I thought, is this the return of Van Halen? But then, it becomes better more and more. Real good rocking album, and I really like Joe Satrianis guitar work on it. Not to reduced to himself he´s playing for the band. Really good job.

Candlebox "Into the Sun" is my favorite album this year. Awesome band that i originally saw with Metallica and again with Rush. Great guitar work for you skinny strings and a new (and quite improved) bass player. Check it out. JOSH

Geez, didn't know Candlebox was still around. I have their debut CD from way back in the day and still pop it in occasionally. I'll have to check it out.

BTW - Did anyone check out my suggestion yet? If so, what'd you think?
