Obviously these basses will eventually be sold. After NAMM do they go out to dealers? I WANT A BIG AL 5 SINGLE H with a rosewood fretboard. I love the blue one. How do I "track" where it goes, what do I do? SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!

The Classic SR5 is calling to me. As a SR guy at heart I would love to have a 5er that feels exactly like a Ray.

Tobacco or Mint green. Yummy!

I recommend contacting zombi. He did a great job helping me get mine from the Bass Player Live event.

Often they are not made for sale, they are used as demos, kept in house for future functions or loaners for pros. You are likely to see some of them at future conventions as well.

Those classic Sterlings are pretty sharp, but it's the Big Al that's at the top of my GAS list right now.

Would still love to see a mahogany Bongo, especially with the introduction of mahogany on the Big Al.

There's definitely something for everybody!

Hey Tom F,

There is a photo floating around the forum of BP outside in a carpark (??) holding a mahogany Bongo made as a one-off (guessing here). I remember reading that it was very heavy, but looked awesome. If I find the link I'll post it.

Cheers

Gonna order a Big Al 4 and a classic SR when it's available.

I'm still wondering why no pics of the SILVER Big Al or this "game changer" Big Al?...

It's kind of like seeing photos of Big Foot... blurry, or partial pics that taunt and tease, but don't give all the answers. I want to believe... the truth is out there LOL

Is this some kind of conspiracy?

I remember the picture well, Andy. That's the one (from the open house several years back) that pushed me over the edge to buy a Bongo.

Still harboring a secret hope that one day it will be a production option at the same time I have money to buy one!
