I think it would be cool to have an option to get the thinner neck profile/ flatter radius of the JPXI/JP12 on a BFR with a figured top

I know everybody is not going to like me for saying this, but I wish the JP models actually didn't have so many options models. Please keep it to a base model and then the bfr line. Maybe only offer the piezo on the upper line. For me it really got confusing with the 10, 11, and 12. I guess they were a price point in between the base and upper bfr, but it was overload. Anyways, I get market confusion with options... piezo non piezo do I get the mystic color.... why the mystic color more expensive? Fretboard radius etc. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to the new JP guitar. It's nice to see a new evolution of this signature series taking place. I truly believe for fast licks this guitar is the best on the market. Not to mention musicman actually takes the time to set these up before shipping them out.

Fair enough, but I actually love having all of the options! :)

They're all excellent and a little different. I prefer them all being available as well. The difference may seem confusing but really all the specs are laid out on MM's website.

The way I see this is that such a variety of options being available is due to the fact that JP has used them over the years. Lets not forget that he spent almost half of his relationship with Music Man using just the standard JP6 (from 2000 to 2006). Besides, one of the first questions that always pops up when a new model is being released is "Will this mean that the other JP models will no longer be available?", and I must say I'm really glad that the guys at MM haven't ceased production of any of the JP models... Having more options gives you the opportunity to choose, I see your point with the market confusion, but unfortunately (despite the large variety of options available for JP models), there are still people who wish there were more options (hell, there are still people who wonder why there isn't a custom shop...).

I just watched Joe Bonamassa live at the Beacon Theater on BluRay. Right near the end he whips out his Morse Dark Lord. Man that was a glorious moment. :)

That entire show was pure magic. Grateful I was THERE! :D

I'm always up for something new, and BP never ceases to amaze us! I'm sure NAMM will have some great surprises. As for a request, I'd love to see the Game Changer to make it's way to some of EBMM's other wonderful and fully available hosts. Nothing wrong with Reflex being it's flagship, but just imagine...
