I'd love to see roasted necks as an option on all models going forward, both finished (a la BFR models) and unfinished (like mine!).

I have one of each.
I buff out the finished neck with guitar polish and it stays pretty smooth. The more I use it the smoother it gets.
The unfinished neck is the smoothest (like silk) of all my basses and given a choice I would go with that.

My Sterling 5HS was unfinished, its bad ass like that, gotta be honest. The PDN Mahongany has a similar feel. Great stuff either way

the booth was packed, as usual, Circus/midway theme this year, and BP was the Ringmaster, naturally,
Nothing much new for bass.
I was able to talk to one of the guys manning the booth, and he pointed out this new sparkle finish, going to be a new PDN color (but another guy said it might be replacing sterling silver as a regular color). Not sure which is accurate, someone else may set me straight.

anyways, continuing the the sparkle series, you get this:

Sterling Silver has been discontinued and replaced with Silver Sparkle! This color is available to all dealers.

That means my Sterling Silver Stingray with solid rosewood neck is even more cool now!

That sparkle is awesome, hopefully EB will come up with a PDN I can order in that color.

I was expecting a change in the SBMM line in regards to color as well. On the website it shows a Blacked out Ray34 with a black control plate and knobs and a black bridge too.The body seems to be a very dark charcoal and that is only when you hover over the title Ray34 Series. Then when you click on it, the basses come up as they are with Honey Burst, Natural, black and White.

So no "big news" in the bass world this year...the MM website hasn't been update, sterling silver still appear as a color option...maybe next year will be our time and have something new, this year was all about the guitar...by the way I think the Majesty guitar is really awesome!

I think EBMM are probably incredibly busy with the very pretty Majesty guitar and ongoing work with the Gamechanger :)

Plus we recently had a lot of limited colour runs, and the Sabre :)

I want a double neck ray with 7 pickups and a neve channel strip for the pre. Also a string tree that doubles as a cigarette holder.

Make it happen.

That would be awesome! If they could work in a couple of cup holders that would be cool too.
