NAMM 2024

Hey @PeteDuBaldo - any idea when Bea's new artist guitar will be available to order? I don't see any details anywhere. Thanks.

I’ve got some on order, but there is an “embargo” on putting up product pages until the official launch date (which I will have to double check). Note that while there are 2 colors, the lighter one will only be available through the EBMM vault.

Man I just don't get the aversion to attractively finished Majesties. We know EBMM can make absolutely stunning looking guitars, so why finish the damn flagship model so limitedly and frankly unattractive?
Emerald forest wasn't ugly, but nothing to write home about.
Here's the last good looking sub $6k production model I bought.

Need some new colors for the Axis (solids, sparkles, etc)!
Well there are some new colors and they actually look pretty good.

The split coil feature on the Rabea Sabre is cool.

I was hoping maybe we'd see a semi-hollow EBMM Valentine and I'd been holding onto my money in case something like that appeared at NAMM this year. So I guess I can go back to deciding which of the already existing models/colors I'm going to go with next-- Maybe a Goldie, Cutlass HT, Albert Lee, or a used Valentine with trem.

In that Rabea video, the thing that caught my eye was that Cutlass on the wall behind the interviewer-- it's next to the Black Frosting Majesty. Is that a Midnight Rider Cutlass? Man, in that light it looks almost like a brownish-purplish sparkly color and it couldn't be more different from the black sparkle hue of that Majesty. They are both broadly speaking black finishes with sparkle, but man that Cutlass really gets my attention.

This is why I wish EBMM would make more vids of the Cutlass HT series (Sting Ray HT too) so we can see what these finishes look like in different lighting (and hear the tones better). Or maybe send out some loaners to Youtube gear reviewers. There are a ton of review videos about the standard Cutlass and Sting Ray models and basically one or two reviewing the HT models and their cool finishes.

They'll be updating the website soon enough and will have more images I would imagine of the newer colors. Someone told me it looked like Root beer sparkle, but it's hard to tell.
