Booked my hotel. Oldtoe and I are once again slated to be The Sniveling Dingleberries. Or Travelin' Crunchberries.

Odds are good, say some, that Craig will be passed out on the floor of our room even though he has a better room somewhere else. I can see this.

Who's going? I demand to know.

I know this is beyond most of your age groups, but does anybody know of the History of the "National Music Association" circa 1957 or 1956? My brothers and I attended the convention in one of those years that was held in Long Beach, Ca. I played guitar, my older brother played steel guitar, and middle brother, the accordian. One of the highlights of my musical career. I'll always remember going into the demonstration rooms and being able to pick up any instrument on display and playing to my hearts content. At that time, pretty much just Fender and Gibson. I know there were others around, but those are the ones that stick out in my mind. I've tried to find information about that time on-line, but to no avail.

I would love to go but have no idea how to get a pass.

I've never been to NAMM, but would like to go one of these days. I've never met anyone on this forum before either. Might be a good chance for that as well. One of these days maybe it will be in the cards for me as well.

This is only 50 miles away from me and it will be just before I ship to Afghanistan. I'd love to go but have no idea how to go about it. Do we buy tickets at the gate? I really have no clue.
