too many nice things to mention with the 25th, all the Rosewood stuff, DD2, Silo double-neck, etc., etc., but holy smokes, that walnut (or whatever) BFR Axis is one of the nicest ever...I don't think I've even seen one in in that color up until now. All the new stuff is kind of overshadowing the "old" guitars, and man, that thing jumped off the page at me....

any more pics of that one?

My guess is that it's a layer between the top and the body, like on the 20th's.

This is surely going to be a lot more tedious / complicated to produce than the 'normal' BFR's.

The edge of the top has to be perfect here, (especially the fine detail at the end of the horns) as it's not obscured by the burst of like on the "normal" BFR's.

Which makes me wonder if it will ever be a regular production ?

Thanks Diz. Not sure if it's the angle or the reflection but is sure does look like there is nice bit of thickness to that maple top

it is a model that is available and it is a veneer that is sanwiched between the body wood and top

Thanks Poppa. I realize this model was just announced, but if I was to inquire about it at a dealer, what should I ask for? Is this considered a different model in the JP BFR line up. Will this veneer model only be associated with this color and vise versa will I be able to get this color on a regular JP BFR? Thanks

+ freakin' 1. I always considered Summer NAMM to be the "little brother" of the trade shows.....not a lot of huge announcements. Not a lot of blow your mind items from the majority of companies. But, man, EBMM brought a lot of beautiful stuff with them this year.

Many thanks for the pics, Pat! Wow, there are so many good looking guitars in these pictures. What can I say....

-The Ice Blue Silhouette looks killer
-Orange Firemist is jumping up on my list of favorites
-The funky swirl pick guards look awesome on the complimentary colors
-I'm GASing for a BP AL like it's nobody's business
-These 25th's with RW are instant classics and I suspect they'll be sought after for years to come.
